AI Consultations let you ask Slokoto questions about a specific lead and get back an answer with actionable recommendations. Use it when you want a second opinion on what to do next, or when you need to validate a stage change.
Where to find it
Open any lead in Lead View and expand the Ask Slokoto section. You can also trigger a consultation automatically by changing a lead's stage from the sidebar or by dragging a lead in the pipeline.
How it works
- Type a question about the lead (up to 4,000 characters).
- Click Ask Slokoto.
- Slokoto reviews the lead's timeline, email threads, stage history, and current data.
- You get back an answer and up to three recommendations.
- Apply or ignore each recommendation individually.
Suggested prompts
If you are not sure what to ask, click one of the example prompts:
- "What should I change on this lead, if anything?"
- "Which stored fields look wrong based on the latest evidence?"
- "What evidence supports the current stage and what would you update?"

Applying a recommendation
Click Apply it on any validated recommendation. The change takes effect immediately and appears in the lead timeline as an activity entry. The recommendation status updates to Applied with a timestamp.
Overriding a rejection
If Slokoto marks a stage change as Not recommended, you can still click Do it anyway to force the move. This is recorded as a manual override in the activity log so your team can see why the stage was changed despite the AI's recommendation.
Stage change validation
When you change a lead's stage — either from the sidebar dropdown or by dragging in the pipeline — Slokoto opens a consultation automatically with a pre-filled question:
"I want to move this lead from [Current Stage] to [New Stage]. Validate this change against the latest evidence and tell me whether I should apply it."
A blue banner shows the proposed stage transition. Slokoto evaluates the move and returns its recommendation. The stage does not change until you click Apply it or Do it anyway. If you click Cancel, no stage change happens.
No stage changes happen automatically. You always have the final say.
Plan requirements
- Available on Revenue and Enterprise plans
- Requires a positive AI balance (at least $0.01)
- Each consultation costs approximately $0.01 to $0.10 depending on response length
If your AI balance is empty, you will see a message asking you to add balance before continuing.
Tips
- Use consultations before making stage changes on high-value deals — the AI checks evidence you might miss
- Ask about field accuracy when lead data looks stale or inconsistent
- You do not have to apply every recommendation — treat them as suggestions
- Overriding a rejection is fine when you have context the AI does not, but the override is logged for transparency
- Recent consultations stay visible in the lead detail so your team can review the reasoning
