Trash View shows leads that your team intentionally removed from active workflow. Trashed leads do not appear in Todo, Upcoming, or Pipeline until they are restored.
What Trash is for
Use Trash when a lead should no longer stay in active rotation, for example:
- Spam or newsletter traffic
- Vendor or marketing outreach
- Duplicate records
- Leads that are not relevant to your business
- Any lead your team wants removed from active work with a clear reason
Trash is not a success-history page. It is the place for leads you want out of the active system.
What you see
Each trash card shows:
- Lead name, company, and email
- Trash reason and category
- Who trashed the lead
- When it was trashed
How to use it
Search and scope
- Use the search box to find trashed leads by name, company, email, or reason
- Switch between My Leads and Team to control scope
Restore a lead
If a lead should become active again:
- Open Trash
- Click Restore
- The lead returns to the active system and can appear in Todo, Upcoming, or Pipeline again
Permanently delete a lead
Admins and managers can also permanently delete trashed leads. This removes the lead and related records, so use it only when the data should truly be removed.
Bulk cleanup
Admins and managers can select multiple trashed leads and delete them in bulk.
Trash vs Todo vs Pipeline
| View | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Todo | Leads that need action now |
| Pipeline | Active leads and their current CRM stage |
| Trash | Leads intentionally removed from active workflow |
Tips
- Trash only when you are sure the lead should leave active work
- Prefer Restore over re-creating a duplicate lead later
- Use clear trash reasons so the team understands why the lead was removed
