Notification Controls let each user decide which alerts they want to receive from Slokoto.
What it does
This area helps reps stay informed without turning every lead update into noise.
You can control:
- Email notifications
- Browser push notifications
- Todo reminders
- Weekly digest emails
- Specific lead-event alerts
How to access it
- Click your avatar in the top-right corner.
- Choose Notifications.
You can also open Profile and switch to the Notifications tab.
General settings
At the top of the page, you can control the main notification switches:
- Email Notifications - Master switch for email-based alerts
- Push Notifications - Browser notifications
- Todo Reminders - Reminders about pending work
- Weekly Digest - Periodic summary email
If the email master switch is off, event-level email alerts are effectively disabled until you turn it back on.
Lead event alerts
You can choose which lead events should notify you by email:
- Mentioned in a comment
- Lead assigned to me
- Lead unassigned from me
- Lead trashed
- Lead marked as Won
- Lead marked as Lost
- Lead not responding
This is useful if you want to hear about ownership changes and outcomes, but not every single status update.
How to use it well
Choose settings based on your role:
- Sales reps usually benefit from comment mentions, assignments, and reminders
- Managers may want more outcome notifications
- Busy teams should keep only the alerts that lead to real action
Tips
- Start with a narrow alert set and add more only if you miss something important
- Leave reminders on if you rely on Todo throughout the day
- Use push alerts for immediacy and email for summary or audit value
- Revisit your settings after role changes or workflow changes
What this does not control
These settings are for personal alert preferences. They do not replace:
- Workspace-level integrations
- Developer webhooks
- Internal booking notifications
- Automation execution rules
Those are configured elsewhere in Slokoto.
