The Upcoming view shows scheduled follow-ups and waiting leads that are not actionable yet.
What it does
Upcoming keeps future work out of Todo until the right moment.
Use it to see:
- follow-ups you scheduled for a future date
- leads you already replied to and are now waiting on
- actions that were snoozed and should come back later
If a lead needs action right now, it belongs in Todo, not Upcoming.
What moves a lead into Upcoming
A lead usually moves into Upcoming when:
- you snooze a Todo for later
- you complete a Todo and choose a future follow-up date
- you reply to the customer and the system recognizes that you are now waiting
What moves a lead back into Todo
A lead leaves Upcoming and returns to Todo when:
- the scheduled follow-up date arrives
- the customer replies and action is needed now
- you click Do Now to activate it early
What you see
Each Upcoming item shows:
- the lead name and company
- the scheduled date
- why the lead is waiting
- the current stage and assignee
- quick actions like Do Now
How to use it
1. Review what is coming next
Use Upcoming to see what is due later today, this week, or farther out.
2. Keep Todo clean
If you are genuinely waiting, leave the lead in Upcoming instead of keeping it in Todo.
3. Pull work forward when needed
If priorities change, use Do Now to move the lead back into Todo immediately.
4. Trust the automatic return
When the scheduled date arrives, the lead should return to Todo automatically.
Upcoming vs Todo
| View | What belongs there |
|---|---|
| Todo | Leads that need action now |
| Upcoming | Leads with a future follow-up date or a waiting state |
Tips
- Review Upcoming when planning your week, not when processing urgent work
- Use it to keep waiting leads visible without cluttering Todo
- If a lead is due now but still appears here, use Do Now or refresh the page once
- Customer replies should move the lead back into Todo automatically
